Random

This was Noelle's birthday party. We are reading Little Bunny Foo Foo. It was the most successful part of the party. 4 year olds have very short attention spans.

Who is that manly man wearing women's sunglasses? Don't faint- it's Daren doing some hard labor. We had to trim the cabinet in order to fit our new/used fridge. We finally got to retire the 25 year old fridge- it was making some seriously frightening noises. Daren was a great help, but as usual my parents and my brothers were life savers to help us out too. We owe you big!

This was the day I realized I no longer have a toddler. I know, she's 4, I should have figured that out a long time ago. It's hard to accept, although 4 is my favorite age so far. She still loves me, but is pretty independent.

Miss Noelle's Birthday

The girls sweet aunt Kara made these cute containers for them.

Don't ask what this cake is suppose to be!

Who needs a fork!

My favorite part of the evening: Kids break all barriers

Libby gave Ellie a broom for her birthday. It's just her size!

AHHH! We went to Ellie's favorite restaurant, Sizzler, for her birthday.

Scripture Study

It's usually a good thing to read scriptures to the girls while they are "captured" in the tub. However, I don't think this session was too effective. Daren is dedicated and just keeps on reading. It makes me laugh.

It happened again!

Thanks to my mom and dad, the girls got new quilts for Christmas. We finally finished up their room this past week. I really used what little sewing skills I have to make this happen. I have to admit, that the more I sew the better I get- imagine that!

Jess- I made the pillow covers- they are even removable!!!

What did I tell you about the pose? Noelle did her own hair and chose her own outfit. She then delivered her birthday invitations looking just like this!

Random Stuff

A picture to show the necklace I made. Daren took the photo. He can always make me laugh. Why is it that I HATE every picture taken of me?
A typical Sunday morning activity. Sundays are rough. Lots of fighting. At least this photo is a great shot of their hair.
This has become Noelle's standard pose. Every photo I take she pulls the hands on the hips, foot pointed to the side.

Friends again.

And lastly, a photo of my entry way that I painted. It has a vaulted ceiling. I should have taken a picture of the 12 ft high part. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Love these ladies!

I had such a wonderful time yesterday having lunch with all the gals I use to work with. It has been a little over 3 years since I left and this was the first time we had all gotten together. Nobody has changed (and I mean that in the very best way) and we fell right back into the old groove. Anyway, it was great! There was only one down side and that was my sis was not there. Don't feel too bad- she was away on vacation, but I missed her anyway.

The Beav

We aren't big time into skiing by any means, but we like to give the girls a chance. So, when ward ski night comes around we make our way up the mountain. I actually didn't ski this time around. I'm just not good enough to ski and hold on to a child at the same time. So, Daren took turns with the girls. Noelle LOVED it. Daren said on the way down the mtn. she was laughing so hard she was snorting. Libby liked it too, but needs to go a few more times to really start going on her own.

Pippi? Is that you?

I always thought a "Pippi Do" required hangers in your braids. I was wrong. Noelle is a natural.
