Dance Recital, Piano Recital, School Program... all in one day!!

Who is that cute girl?!? Must be a first grader singing her little heart out!

Noelle and Liberty, just before Noelle's dance recital and Libby's piano recital, which occurred simultaneously. Good thing there are two parents!

Noelle and her little friend Payson.

After the performances, they look a little bit more tired than before. They both did great! The only thing left to do was go and celebrate their Daddy's birthday! What a day!

Preschool Graduation

Noelle graduated from Miss Becky's preschool last week. She had so much fun there this year and learned a bunch. Her only complaint was "the boys fight me". Which I think is code for "the boys try and play with me, but I don't like the way boys play with swords and guns".

Well I hear it's your birthday!

Happy Birthday Daren! A few more pictures of Disneyland that highlight the birthday boy!

This picture says so much. It takes everything Daren has in him to let his daughter mow the lawn (it takes just about as much strength to let me mow the lawn). He is very particular about the lawn, but because he is such a great, loving Dad and husband he lets us mow!

Disneyland!

I'm going through blog withdrawals, so I am attempting to blog on Daren's laptop. That means these pics are in no particular order. Kind of like my life right now. No particular order!

This photo was taken in Mickey's house (Noelle's favorite part of Disneyland) and it is especially for Grandma Chris. That's a chicken arm I have- in case you were wondering.

Our favorite character out of the many that we saw.

This was a typical scene throughout the vacation. The girls waiting at the door while Daren finishes up his work. Can't complain- he paid for the vacation after all.

I have to admit that I spend a fair amount of time thinking about having another baby, but this trip just made me so grateful that the girls have each other. They can fight with the best of them, but when they play together (like in this picture) they have such fun! I can't complain that I don't have a third. I just have to be grateful that I was blessed with two miracles.

Noelle in the rental car, wearing my jacket on her legs. It was a long drive, but we hung in there. Daren even invented a game for us. The "animal game"- we would make an animal noise and then everyone had to guess what animal we were and make that same noise. What fun, right?

We had a great time in Disneyland. Other than a gothic convention (no I'm not kidding- it was sick and amazing at the same time) on the first day, we picked a good time to come as evidenced by the fact that we didn't even wait in a line for this picture with Mickey!

My 100th post- it's a party

I just LOVE these pictures. Look how happy everyone looks! We were celebrating Mindy and Val's birthdays and I think/hope everyone was having a good time. I know I was smiling behind the camera.

Even the guys are happy! Do you like how we segregated? Daren was in attendance I just missed getting him in the photo. Happy Birthday Mindy and Val!

NCAA- Sweet Sixteen!

Daren has some ties to the NCAA. I won't expound. My three faithful blog readers already know the story. So, we got to go to a couple of sweet sixteen games. I had so much fun! The first photo is just to show that we were literally right behind the score table.

Do you recognize this man? You should. He was sitting in the section right next to us.

Check out the size of #2's feet! You don't just go to the store and pick up those shoes!

My goal is to have the whole family with us next year. So, save your pennies. We'll be going to Houston.

Random

This was Noelle's birthday party. We are reading Little Bunny Foo Foo. It was the most successful part of the party. 4 year olds have very short attention spans.

Who is that manly man wearing women's sunglasses? Don't faint- it's Daren doing some hard labor. We had to trim the cabinet in order to fit our new/used fridge. We finally got to retire the 25 year old fridge- it was making some seriously frightening noises. Daren was a great help, but as usual my parents and my brothers were life savers to help us out too. We owe you big!

This was the day I realized I no longer have a toddler. I know, she's 4, I should have figured that out a long time ago. It's hard to accept, although 4 is my favorite age so far. She still loves me, but is pretty independent.

Miss Noelle's Birthday

The girls sweet aunt Kara made these cute containers for them.

Don't ask what this cake is suppose to be!

Who needs a fork!

My favorite part of the evening: Kids break all barriers

Libby gave Ellie a broom for her birthday. It's just her size!

AHHH! We went to Ellie's favorite restaurant, Sizzler, for her birthday.
