We went roller skating for
FHE. It was fun, but painful. Noelle could barely stand up (as you can see), but she sure did look cute in roller skates. I spent most of the time with her on my hip. In fact, I was holding her and rollerblading over to the drinking fountain and I fell down! Obviously I had no hands to ease into the landing, so I have some sweet bruises to mark what exactly hit the ground. I know I am getting old, because I wasn't
embarrassed at all, just in pain.

Daren literally holding Noelle up. She let us do all the work for her!

Daren included my head in the original photo, but I chose to edit it out. It's better that way- trust me. This was Libby's second time roller skating (thanks to the Berry's!) and she was getting the hang of it this time around.
Look how
stinkin' cute! The best part of this whole rollerskating experience is the song I have added to the playlist. Make sure you listen to it! It will make you want to roller skate- old school style.

Lovin' that music! My kids don't get it...they can't see the disco ball in the middle sending out sparklies, while you are doing laps around the outside hoping a cute boy will see all your skills...then you watch another girl go by skating backwards and she does a flip and all your impressive skills don't seem so great... :) Just kidding, but my kids really don't get what memories that song induces!!
Seeing these pics of your family along with the classic song you picked out brings back fond memories. My dad digs roller skating and all my years growing up in Bountiful were spent going to classic roller skating about once a month for family night. I loved it! So despite the fact that it was painful, it will be great memories for your kids. The best part was when me Dad would let us sit on his roller skate while he skated around. I loved the picture with Libby in roller skates...very cute!
